The Father 100: Love

Written by twistedxtian

Topics: Being a Dad

The birth of my son taught me that love isn’t always a choice; sometimes you don’t have a say in the matter. I chose to love my wife.  I choose to love my friends. I didn’t have a choice when it came to loving my son. The moment he arrived I was overwhelmed with this unconditional, unfailing love; a type of love that I had never experienced before and didn’t understand. 10 months later I still don’t understand, but there is nothing that compares, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It’s amazing what fatherhood can bring to you and how the appreciation and love grows.
