The Blog of a Twisted Christian

I respect the honesty in your blog here.  You’re right; it is not easy to write a sermon epically when you are new to it and when you are trying to figure things out for yourself.

I find that there is always a way to present a well written and thought out sermon to a congregation if you are willing to put in the time, even if it is a night after the kids are asleep and you are tired from the day.  I think it shows commitment and God will bless that.

In my opinion, generally the best sermons come from those who have either experienced faith issues first hand or are currently going through them.  When you can preach from a place of honesty and you can hold onto Gods love, the congregation see’s that and they are happy to hear from someone who is working on many of the issues they are currently facing themselves.  Truth will speak for itself.

I look forward to your upcoming blogs.
